ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Kourosh Taie. I've spent well over the last two decades of my life completely immersed in the art of magic. I regularly get asked how and why I got into magic. It all started back when I was a teenager. Growing up I always had an appreciation for the art, but it wasn't until I saw David Blaine's first TV special, David Blaine: Street Magic, that I realized I wanted to be a magician myself. I guess you could say that I was bit by the magic bug and I've been hooked ever since. These days I spend more time practicing and perfecting my craft than I probably care to admit. It's much more than simply a hobby or career choice. It's more like an obsession. My favorite thing about magic is the way that it makes people feel. Magic blurs the lines between what people perceive as possible and impossible, and to me that is a very beautiful thing. Being able to bring a smile to someone's face, or to leave them with a sense of awe and wonder is a truly indescribable feeling. For me it's one of the greatest feelings in the world. I guess I'm just an entertainer at heart because I absolutely live for those moments.
